The 7th Asian Arts Festival

　　Co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China, the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, and co-sponsored by the Department of Culture of Guangdong Province and the People’s Government of Foshan City, with the purpose of "promoting cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, enhancing friendship between peoples of various countries, guiding the development of cultural industries, and meeting the needs of popular culture" The 7th Asian Art Festival was held in Foshan in November 2005. The annual Asian Art Festival has now become a well-known regional international art festival in Asia. It provides a good stage for artists from various Asian countries to fully display the unique style and charm of Asian art. It will gain deeper and wider attention from the broad audience and the international art community, and contribute to the promotion of cultural exchanges between China and other Asian countries.
